Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Architect – Contract Opportunity

TechOhana has partnered with a boutique consultancy and is seeking a talented professional to spearhead agreenfield end-to-end FSL implementationfor aTelco companyon the outskirts ofLondon. This role starts with a2-month contract, followed by the possibility of long-term involvement in alarge transformational program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Design Solutions: Lead the design and development of comprehensive FSL solutions, ensuring alignment with the client's business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact for key stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and facilitating clear communication between technical teams and business leads.

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of the project from requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture, to deployment and post-implementation support.

  • Customisation and Configuration: Develop and implement custom components (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) to meet specific field service needs, including advanced scheduling and optimisation.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and troubleshooting of the FSL implementation to ensure seamless execution and delivery, providing ongoing support during the project handover phase.

  • Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Mentor junior team members and guide internal staff through the Salesforce FSL landscape, ensuring a smooth transition to operational teams post-go-live.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ end-to-end Salesforce FSL implementations

    (essential)

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture and FSL functionality

  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and external clients

  • Ability to handle complex challenges, offer scalable solutions, and deliver on time

  • Previous experience in the

    Telco industry

    is advantageous but not mandatory

Details:

  • Location: Outskirts of London

  • Duration: Initial 2-month contract, with potential for long-term involvement

  • Rate: DOE (Dependent on Experience)

  • Outside IR35
