Job Title: Salesforce Administrator – Nonprofit Specialist

Job Summary:
Techohana has recently partnered with a developing charity who is seeking an experiencedSalesforce Administrator specializing in the Nonprofit sector. This individual will focus on configuring and managing Salesforce, particularly the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), to support the organization's donor management, volunteer tracking, and fundraising operations. The role will be essential in optimizing the CRM for enhanced donor relations, program management, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
Oversee the daily administration of Salesforce, including user setup, profiles, roles, and permissions to ensure data security.
Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and reports to meet the nonprofit’s specific needs.
Conduct regular data quality reviews, including managing duplicate records and cleaning up data.
Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Configuration:
Implement and optimize NPSP features, such as donation tracking, recurring donations, gift entry, and volunteer management.
Configure tools within Salesforce to track donor engagement and relationships.
Process Automation & Optimization:
Use Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to automate business processes and streamline operations.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide key insights into fundraising, program management, and donor engagement metrics.
Data Management:
Manage data imports and exports, ensuring accuracy and integrity using tools such as Data Loader and Salesforce Inspector.
Maintain data hygiene and ensure best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
End-User Training & Support:
Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure staff understand the system and are equipped to utilize new functionalities.
Troubleshoot issues and serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related questions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and program teams, as well as external consultants, to ensure Salesforce aligns with organizational goals.
Gather requirements from various departments and stakeholders to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Qualifications:
Salesforce Certifications
(Administrator, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Proficiency with the
Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
and related Salesforce tools for nonprofit operations.
In-depth knowledge of donor management, fundraising, and volunteer tracking processes.
Expertise with automation tools such as Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
Familiarity with data management tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Inspector).
Strong reporting and dashboard development skills for tracking nonprofit KPIs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of
Salesforce Marketing Cloud
or
Pardot
for managing donor engagement campaigns.
Basic understanding of Apex and Visualforce is advantageous.
Experience working within an Agile environment.
