Role Overview
The Salesforce Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and the Salesforce platform within a leading financial services environment. Working both remotely and on‑site, they will gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translate them into Salesforce solutions, and champion adoption and efficiency across stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Conduct interviews, workshops, and document processes to capture stakeholder needs and business objectives.
Process Mapping & Documentation:
Analyze current workflows, identify gaps, and design Salesforce‑enabled improvements with clear artifacts like BRDs, user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
Solution Design & Configuration:
Collaborate with technical teams to design and configure Salesforce solutions (custom objects, flows, reports, dashboards, validation rules) in alignment with business goals.
Testing & Validation:
Lead UAT and functional/regression testing; develop test scripts and manage issue resolution to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Training & Adoption Support:
Create training materials, conduct sessions, support user adoption, and provide ongoing post‑go‑live assistance.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the liaison between technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in a closely related role.
Hands‑on familiarity with Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), declarative configuration tools, and AppExchange solutions.
Strong skills in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, documentation, and test management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
Preferred: Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification; experience in financial services or familiarity with Financial Services Cloud is a plus.
